Subscription Services

Subscription services are sold in units. A single unit provides for the hardware lease of one surveillance camera. It also provides the subscriber access to view live and recorded footage provided by the leased camera. Subscription services will remain available so long as the subscription is properly maintained, and subscriber responsibilities are upheld.

Subscriber Responsibilities

Installation and configuration are required in order to view and record surveillance footage, both of which are the responsibilities of the subscriber. Installation is complete when the cameras are powered on and remotely accessible through the internet. Up to 60 minutes of technical support will be provided to the subscriber to facilitate this installation.

The subscriber accepts that if the network environment is not properly maintained then they may lose access to some subscription services.

The continued administration of subscription services requires the subscriber to adhere to the payment terms.

The inability of the subscriber to access subscription services does not negate their responsibility to make payments in accordance with the payment terms.

Subscription Duration

The subscription begins as soon as the initial payment is processed and has a duration of one month. The subscription will automatically renew on a monthly basis until the subscription is cancelled. Subscriptions may be cancelled by the subscriber from their “My Account” page. Subscriptions may also be cancelled by sending an email request to support@myeasytek.com.

When a subscription is cancelled the provided equipment must be returned in accordance with the payment terms

Payment Terms

At the start of the subscription the subscriber will provide a default payment method. The default payment method will be automatically charged each time the subscription is renewed.

The subscriber will be automatically charged an unreturned equipment penalty of $350 if the surveillance camera is not returned within 15 calendar days after the subscription has been cancelled. Once this penalty is paid the surveillance camera becomes the property of the subscriber.

The subscriber will automatically be charged a damaged equipment penalty of $175 if a camera they have returned is damaged or otherwise different than original condition. 

MyEasytek may change the cost of any subscription at any time, in which case 60 days notice will be provided to the subscriber and they will be given the option to cancel.

Uncollected Payments

If the default payment method fails for any type of payment it will automatically be retried until the payment has been successfully collected. If payment is still unable to be collected after 15 calendar days, then subscription services may be suspended. During subscription suspension the subscription will still automatically renew unless cancelled.

The subscription will be automatically cancelled if all past due payments are not made within one calendar month of the original missed payment. The subscriber will be notified of automatic cancellation by email and will need to return the surveillance camera or be assessed an unreturned equipment penalty as set forth in the payment terms.

If the account balance is not paid in full within one calendar month after automatic cancellation, then  all other legal means of debt collection will be used against the subscriber, and the subscriber will also be responsible for the payment of fees associated with collecting this debt.

Technical Support

Technical support will be delivered by means of email and telephone. Upon request, and when other methods of support have failed, the subscriber will be required to provide a Windows 10 computer with a wired connection to the same local network as the surveillance equipment as well as the wherewithal to initiate a screen sharing session with the technical support representative.

Requests for technical support will be answered as quickly as possible but may take up to 2 business days.

More Terms and Conditions

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois (without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions).  If any provision of this agreement is held to be illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed to no longer be part of the agreement, and the agreement will be enforceable as though that provision was never included.

The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold MyEasytek, its shareholders, directors, employees, and agents harmless for any expense or loss resulting from the inability to access surveillance footage, network downtime, or the subscriber’s own violation of local, state, or federal law.

In the event subscriber’s account must be referred to attorneys for collection, the subscriber agrees it shall be responsible for all expenses incurred by myEasytek, including reasonable attorney fees, court costs and other collection costs incurred in such legal action.
