Design Credit Program & Equipment Pricing

MyEasytek charges separately for architectural lighting design services , equipment, and physical installation.

Our Design Credit Program provides an additional 10 percentage points off MSRP on qualifying equipment purchases, allowing customers to recover up to 100% of their original design fee.

Once the design fee is recovered, equipment purchases return to our standard manufacturer-specific discounts.

1. How Design Credits Work

MyEasytek publishes standard equipment discounts based on manufacturer MSRP.

Under the Design Credit Program, qualifying equipment receives an additional 10 percentage points of discount while the customer has an unrecovered design fee balance.

For example, equipment normally discounted 15% receives a 25% discount during recovery. Equipment normally discounted 25% receives 35%.

Only the additional 10 percentage points count toward recovering the design fee. Standard manufacturer discounts do not reduce the design credit balance.

Design credits are realized through equipment discounts rather than cash refunds. Product eligibility is subject to the program rules below.

2. Design Credit Calculation Example

Assume a customer has paid a $2,000 design fee and purchases $24,000 of qualifying equipment normally discounted 15% from MSRP.

The first $20,000 receives the enhanced 25% discount. Of the resulting $5,000 in savings, $3,000 comes from the standard 15% discount and $2,000 comes from the additional 10% Design Credit enhancement.

The additional $2,000 fully recovers the original design fee. The remaining $4,000 receives the standard 15% discount, saving another $600.

Example assumes all equipment is eligible. Amounts exclude applicable taxes and shipping. Actual standard discounts vary by product.

3. Design Credit Program Rules

Eligible equipment. The 10-percentage-point enhancement applies to qualifying lighting equipment purchased directly through MyEasytek.
Product exclusions. MyEasytek reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude specific products, product lines, or manufacturers from the Design Credit Program. Eligibility is determined and communicated before purchase.
Standard discounts. Eligible equipment receives its applicable standard MSRP discount plus 10 percentage points while an unrecovered design fee balance remains.
Credit calculation. Only the additional 10 percentage points count toward design fee recovery. Standard discounts are excluded from the credit calculation.
Maximum recovery. Total Design Credit enhancements cannot exceed the original design fee paid.
Partial order allocation. If the remaining design fee balance is recovered partway through an order, the remainder receives its applicable standard manufacturer discount.
Cumulative purchases. Credits may be earned across multiple qualifying purchases until the design fee is fully recovered.
No cash value. Unused design credit balances cannot be refunded, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
Independent installation. Equipment purchasing and physical installation are separate. Customers may work with their own qualified contractors.
Pricing changes. Published standard discounts may change over time. Final pricing and eligibility are confirmed before equipment purchase.

4. Standard Equipment Discounts

The following are MyEasytek’s current standard discounts from manufacturer MSRP.

Standard discounts are independent of the Design Credit Program and may be revised without notice. The enhanced discount is available only on eligible equipment while design credits remain. Specific products may be excluded at MyEasytek’s sole discretion.

5. Lutron Design & Programming Program

Lutron RadioRA 3 and HomeWorks design and programming services operate under a separate design and programming arrangement rather than the standard Design Credit Program.

Before design work begins, customers make an initial equipment purchase commitment. This payment is credited in full toward the eventual equipment purchase.

Included Services

Both programs include system design, iterative equipment pricing, switching plans, device layouts, and installation schedules.

Following equipment purchase, MyEasytek provides installation support, device activation assistance, initial scene and automation programming, app setup, and one year of programming changes and troubleshooting assistance within the agreed project scope.

HomeWorks projects may also include lighting panel schedules, module connection schedules, QS wiring documentation, and additional custom programming services.

Standard equipment discounts are subject to change. Physical installation is separate unless explicitly included in the project agreement. The initial commitment is applied toward equipment purchases and is not a separate design fee.
